Power Savers Alert!!

Due to high temperatures,we encourage municipal electric customers to VOLUNTARILY reduce electric use today, Thursday, July 16^th , 2026.  Power Saver Hours each day are from 3 to 7pm. Customers can lower their electric use during these hours to save money both now and later.  Participation lowers electric use throughout the community, in return lowering customers’ monthly electric costs and utility energy costs over time.  The more people that participate, the bigger the impact.

Customers can help by taking simple steps such as:

• Unplug or turn off power strips for chargers, gaming consoles, TVs, and other devices to avoid using extra energy.
